WHERE IS HOME?

I had grown up in a city that I really hated.
My animosity for it simply can’t be stated.
I had to live there for so long ‘cuz of my family.
But the City of Angels was never home for me.

Always feeling like you never truly belong

Knowing that the place you live is just so wrong

I had arrived in the place of my fantasy!
The Big Apple really had everything for me!
But after twenty years the struggle became too real.
Now with the orange clown in power it’s too much to deal.

Seeing things change is a punch in the gut

Watching friends move and businesses shut

Circumstances brought me to the city of Gaudi.
At first it was so nice to just be by the sea.
But the barriers for me have been really intense
I don’t know if any place for me really makes sense.

New language, new friends, new everything

It’s so hard to imagine what the future will bring

It doesn’t matter if we end up going too far…

Because home is always going to be wherever you are…

As long as we’re always together in all of this…

Then the place we end up living will be pure bliss…
