Following Xavier’s dream, going to magical lands
While other boys chased football, sports and fame,
I wanted to be an elf — playing D&D in the rain.
Boys wanted Leia, with their raging hormones
But I crushed on Buck Rogers and Indiana Jones.
I got picked last in sports, but first in trivia
Because I knew all the Star Wars insignia!

Found friends at conventions and board game nights,
Arguing DC versus Marvel — we’d get into fights.
Shoot me into space, I’ll explore the outer region.
Take me to the future — I’ll be a part of the Legion
Got a husband who gets it — bless his nerdy soul,
He even knows the rules to Secret Hitler’s role.
