I FELL OFF A CLIFF

Falling off a cliff may have been the best thing to happen to me.
I know it sounds strange but how it changed my perspective is the key.
Sure I broke my back, causing lots of problems down the line.
But what it gave me in the end is so precious, it feels like a sign.

I fell off a cliff!

I made it a holiday

It changed my point of view

So many events occurred, that never would have happened otherwise.
It brought me to New York City, which really opened my eyes.
I became a business owner, then had my dream job for over ten years.
Becoming an optimist — I let go of all of my fears.

Sure I had lots of pain
But I couldn’t believe
All the good things I would gain.

Received the ultimate curse.

I would never have gone to the Oscars
But I probably would have said “What If?”
